As a contemporary photographer and artist I have always felt I was at of the lucky ones being able to hone my craft while heading up the creative departments at some of the country's largest and most respected retailers. Currently an adjunct instructor in photography at Wayne State University in Detroit, I have studied at Houston's Glassed School under Amy Blakemore, New York's International Center of Photography , Fashion Institute of Technology and the Savannah College of At and Design, where I received my MFA.
My creative advertising roots are evidenced in my highly stylized tableaux images in the "Camelot" series, as well as my "Straight Talk" and "About Face" endeavors. While the majority of my work examines perception and reality in an ever-increasing breadth of photographic styles, contemporary fashion photography is a constant source of inspiration, interpretation and integration. I constantly reinvent the way I work with light, emotion, color and content in relaying my messages.
